An evening of Winter Wellness

Our evening of Winter Wellness is a double bill of nutrition and homeopathy!

Beat those winter colds, flus and blues by optimising your nutritional health. Liz Cooper has trained health practitioners and pharmacists in gut health, has been involved in research and education, and has written children’s booklets. Alongside her own clinic, she advises numerous companies in the field of health and wellbeing. This evening, she will be here just for us! Her fun and informative talk on how to thrive through winter by optimising our nutritional health includes a Q&A session. So as the cold, dark months set in, here’s to giving our immune system a boost!

Homeopath, author and educator, Em Colley is passionate about the potential of homeopathy and loves sharing her knowledge with the world. Her new book The Joy of Homeopathy celebrates the potential of this often-times misunderstood medicine. Em, who also teaches at The School of Homeopathy, will talk about commonly used homeopathic medicines to improve health and wellbeing, with a focus on the Helios 18/36 kit (with Q&A session).

Signed copies of The Joy of Homeopathy as well as Helios 18/36 kits will be available for sale on the evening.

Introduction to Reiki

A practical hands-on workshop in which you will learn how to channel Reiki through your hands.

Reiki is a safe and beneficial form of healing that has been used for more than a hundred years. It reduces stress, heals the body, and brings relaxation, clarity and stillness to the mind. Reiki is simple to learn for anyone who wishes to connect with the power of healing.

During the workshop, Rosalind will give you a special attunement that will enable you to channel Reiki for the rest of your life. You will also learn a simple energy exercise to establish and strengthen your connection to Reiki and how to give a treatment to yourself and others.

The workshop includes an unscheduled, go-with-the-flow one-hour lunch break.

Rosalind has been a complementary therapist and Reiki Master/Teacher since the mid 1990s and is registered to teach with the UK Reiki Federation.

Release stress via body intelligence (SOLD OUT!)

Perhaps the most fundamental element of creating your health is to learn your body's intelligence. All you need to do is listen. It sounds easy, but it does take a little practice.

It's well worth the work. Day in, day out, stress builds up. Because we have forgotten how to let it go, we store it all in our body as if sweeping it under an insensate rug. Out of sight, out of mind. But the body does not forget.

Of course it is not possible to separate physical from emotional wellbeing, but if we do want to create our own health, it helps to get to know ourselves as best we can.
